HCR Estimates
Hummer Construction Resources have been providing construction cost estimates to clients for over 30 years. Our firm has a combined experience of over 100 years in the industry, and we pride ourselves on our accuracy and exceptional customer service. We are on the Virginia DGS statewide contract to provide cost estimating services to all state agencies. We regularly work with architects, engineers, developers and contractors. HCR is a Class A licensed contractor.
HCR Estimating Team
Our team is made up of estimators who have years of hands-on construction experience. They are former contractors, tradesmen and project managers. We do not use estimating software that relies on cookie cutter estimating cost books. We use our own data base of current material costs, labor manhour units and prevailing wages based on project location. We have updated and maintained this data base since the beginning.
HCR Estimates All Types of Projects
HCR has provided cost estimates, at all levels of design, for schools, medical centers, industrial plants, hospitality, data centers, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, higher education, sports arenas, laboratories, entertainment venues and transportation facilities.
Our largest estimate was for the $1.2 billion Texas Cryptology Data Center and our smallest estimate was $253 thousand for the installation and final connections of a hospital Linac machine.
